It was slower on floors that were not paved however, it was able to recover speed and performed better than other robots we evaluated.
The IQ is a more suitable choice for the majority of users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a bigger dustbin and a longer battery life, and is better at navigating around obstacles. It comes with mopping tools that can clean up sticky mess. The iRobot is, on the other hand feels better constructed and has fewer parts that need maintenance or replacement and has lower ongoing costs, and can even create virtual no-go zones using its companion app. It can even restart the cleaning process from where it left off in case it has run out of battery before having completed the task. The iRobot can also be controlled via voice commands, which is a big plus for many users.
